Invest in Neighborhoods Inc. Invest in Neighborhoods Inc. Invest in Neighborhoods Inc. has awarded over $13,000 in grants to seven community councils for neighborhood improvement projects. The annual Merit Grants will be used for youth programs, beautification efforts, identity programs and community events.
The awards were announced at the Invest annual meeting June 11.
Neighborhoods receiving grants are Madisonville, Mt. Auburn, Mt. Washington, Northside, Riverside, Sayler Park and Westwood.
Members also elected to the Board of Trustees H. Drewry (Drew) Gores of Walnut Hills, Fulton Jefferson Jr. of Avondale, Sam Nellom of Bond Hill, Diana Vakharia of East Price Hill, and Dr. Kam C. Wong of Pleasant Ridge.
