In the 2004 City Budget, Cincinnati City Council approved funding in the amount of $340,000 for the implementation of the Neighborhood Business District Support Fund (NBDSF) Program (the Program). The Program is intended to support recognized business districts (NBDs) in 34 Cincinnati neighborhoods. The Program has three goals:

The Program will provide approximately $340,000 in grants to support NBD improvements in 34 communities. Not more than $34,000 will be reserved for administrative costs. The maximum Program grant is $10,000 for each community.
Year 2006/2007 NBD Schedule

Assumes that contract is signed by appropriate business district representative after receiving approval at the Review Committee meeting. If contract is not signed at meeting, contract becomes effective on date signed by appropriate representative and approved by Cincinnati City Council.

The pre-review deadline is optional but strongly recommended. The purpose of the pre-review is to have Invest staff review proposals for missing information or documentation in advance of the final deadline with enough time to allow business districts to resubmit the needed information.
Original proposals may be mailed to or dropped off at the Invest office at 315 W. Court St. (Fire Museum). Note: Whether mailed or hand delivered, proposals must be received on the deadline day by 4:00 p.m.
