Invest in Neighborhoods Inc. is a nonprofit organization created in 1982 to promote and assist the 51 community councils that represent the neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our mission is to assist the councils with financial resources and to promote self-sufficiency and leadership skills of the councils and their residents.

Invest Annual Meeting
Invest in Neighborhoods' annual meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, June 12, 2008, at our office in the Fire Museum (315 W. Court St.). The meeting commences at 6 pm, with refreshments and social time starting at 5 pm. Charles Graves, director of the city's Planning Department is guest speaker.

Training Scheduled
As part of our ongoing series of training topics for community council, neighborhood business district and other grassroots members, Invest in Neighborhoods in partnership with the Community building Institute is conducting a session on running effective meetings at 7 pm Monday, June 30, at our office. This session is mandatory for community council presidents elected within the past year. Please go to our Activities page for more information on both these events.
