Invest in Neighborhoods Inc. is a nonprofit organization created in 1982 to promote and assist the 51 community councils that represent the neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our mission is to assist the councils with financial resources and to promote self-sufficiency and leadership skills of the councils and their residents.

Training Scheduled
As part of our ongoing series of training topics for community council, neighborhood business district and other grassroots members, Invest in Neighborhoods in partnership with the Community building Institute is conducting a session on leadership principles at 7 pm Thursday, May 19, at our office. Officers and anyone interested in skills necessary to lead a grassroots organization are encouraged to attend.

Community Driven Crime Control (CDCC) Workshop
Invest is partnering with the Community Building Institute, Xavier University's Criminal Justice Dept. and the community councils of Bond Hill and North Avondale to present a workshop on councils taking control of their neighborhoods Please go to our Activities page for more information on both these events.
