Guest speaker Charles Graves, director of the City's Planning Department, will discuss work on the city's new comprehensive plan and what it means for neighborhoods.
There also will be presentation of Merit Grant Awards, election of new board members, and a discussion of strategies for securing an increase in NSP funding.

Description:
Having an effective, trouble-free community council most often is based upon meetings that are well conducted and focused on matters at hand. This session will offer guidelines and tips for meeting chairs to keep community members engaged and to assure that necessary business is accomplished. This session is mandatory for NSP participation for all community council presidents elected within the past year.
