Community Council Training Series

Spring Session

Title: Answering the Call for Leadership: A Training for Current and Future Community Leaders.

Date: Monday, May 19, 2008 at Invest in Neighborhoods, 315 W. Court St. (Fire Museum)

Time: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Description:
Many Cincinnati neighborhoods are working to improve the health, well-being and vibrancy of their community. Community Councils are often times called upon to lead these neighborhood revitalization efforts. This workshop will focus on how community councils can drive community change through effective leadership. Participants will learn how to tap into the passion and experience of residents to recruit new members and motivate existing members. Participants will also learn about local best practices and how they can incorporate these lessons into their revitalization efforts.
