Section 9: The Administrating Agency

IIN and the City shall enter into a contract for IIN's administration of the Program. The following are highlights of IIN's contractual obligations:

  1. IIN shall establish a process to ensure review and approval of proposals and amendments by the NBDSF Program Review Committee and the NBDSF Program Director. IIN shall review and approve recommendations made by the NBDSF Program Review Committee to contract with communities for NBDSF Program participation.
  2. IIN shall prepare and distribute administrative guidelines.
  3. IIN shall be responsible for providing required and appropriate financial and program reports to the City.
  4. IIN shall ensure staff review and monitoring of all Program neighborhoods by means of Interim and Final Performance Reports, as well as site visits to assure compliance with the Program Guidelines.
  5. The Agency shall hire a NBDSF Program Director and other staff members as needed, provide facilities and offer training to adequately administer the Program.
  6. The Agency shall provide advice and counsel to the City Administration and City Council regarding Program changes and enhancements.
