Invest in Neighborhoods Inc. is a nonprofit organization created in 1982 to promote and assist the 51 community councils that represent the neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our mission is to assist the councils with financial resources and to promote self-sufficiency and leadership skills of the councils and their residents.
We do this through a variety of programs and activities:For 17 years Invest also managed the Neighborhood Support Program (NSP) for the City. Community Councils receive a set amount of money each year under the program to underwrite their activities. From 2004-2008, Invest also managed a similar program for neighborhood business districts.
